The first national Outrigger Regatta for Savusavu was held 5th -7th November 2010. all Outrigger Clubs from Fiji participated in the competition with Sprint Race (Friday) and the Marathons (with 30 km the longest of the season) on Saturday.
The rich cultural and entertainment programme over the weekend included a traditional Outrigger Regatta and the banaban dance group. The Uto Ni Yalo and the sister canoe were special guest.
Programme:
Thursday: Arrival of the teams, BBQ
Friday - Openening Ceremony with traditional Outrigger Regatta, 500m Sprints, Medal Presentation
Saturday – Marathons Open woman, Open men, U19 and other Juniors, Medal Presentation, Closing Party with Vanua Levu Night
Sunday – stannd up paddling and fun paddling

MARATHON : Savusavu - Barrack Reef - Lighthouse - Savusavu 30 km
